Liverpool Football Club has confirmed the completion of its second winter transfer for January, following the signing of Ivan Ndokouy from Austria Vienna. The club has now reached an agreement to acquire Mor Ndiaye, a defender representing the Senegal U17 national team.
Transfer Details
Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Ndiaye, who can play as both a central defender and left-back, will join Liverpool's youth setup after impressing at the 2025 FIFA U17 World Cup in Qatar, where Senegal reached the Round of 32 before being eliminated by Uganda.
Ndiaye currently plays for Amity FC in Senegal, a club that has previously developed professional players who have competed in the Premier League, including Demba Ba, a former Chelsea and Newcastle player. He is expected to be officially registered with Liverpool in the coming days.
Interest in Marc Guéhi
In addition to the signing of Ndiaye, Liverpool is actively pursuing Marc Guéhi from Crystal Palace to further strengthen its defense. However, the transfer faces stiff competition from Manchester City during the current winter transfer window.
