Lebanese Minister Warns of Israeli Violations and Hezbollah's Role in Southern Destruction

Lebanese Minister of Displaced Persons Kamal Chahade has warned that Israel continues to violate Lebanese sovereignty, stating that there has been no action taken to adhere to the ceasefire agreement, and that the international community has had little impact on Israel's behavior.
In exclusive remarks, Chahade emphasized that the Lebanese government is working to establish genuine state authority rather than a mere formal presence, insisting that Israel must respect Lebanon's national sovereignty.
Domestically, the minister attributed the destruction in southern Lebanon to Hezbollah, while asserting that Lebanon does not seek escalation and holds no hostile intentions towards any party, aiming to avoid providing Israel with a pretext for intervention.
* Commitment to Rebuilding the South and Enhancing Stability
Chahade expressed the Lebanese government's commitment to reconstructing the south and reclaiming occupied territories, stating that upcoming efforts will focus on rebuilding the nation and strengthening stability.
He also expressed hope that the upcoming meeting of countries supporting the Lebanese army, scheduled for next month, will help bolster the state's capabilities and reinforce its sovereignty across its territory.
