Lebanon's Energy and Water Minister, Joe Sadi, announced through a statement on X that he has sought the Cabinet's approval to proceed with unloading a diesel shipment provided by a Kuwaiti company.
The minister indicated that this action would enable Electricité du Liban to expedite efforts to reduce power outages and avert a total blackout. He also confirmed that the shipment will not be utilized until the results of a second test on the samples are published to ensure compliance with specifications.
