Liverpool Identifies Young Barcelona Talent Roni Badrgji as Potential Successor to Mohamed Salah

Liverpool has reportedly initiated its search for a potential successor to star forward Mohamed Salah, who may leave the club this summer. The team has dispatched scouts to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to monitor young talent Roni Badrgji, a Syrian-Swedish player, after his impressive display with Barcelona in the Spanish Supercup.
Badrgji, 20, was born in Kuwait to Syrian parents and shone in the Supercup semifinal against Athletic Bilbao, where he scored one goal and provided two assists in a convincing 5-0 victory. His performance has caught the attention of Liverpool scouts, affirming his readiness for a Premier League challenge.
According to Caught Offside, Liverpool management views Badrgji as an ideal successor to Salah, particularly as the Egyptian approaches his 34th birthday this summer and amid reported tensions with coach Arne Slot following controversial comments last month.
Additionally, this interest comes as Liverpool seeks a fast, skillful player capable of penetrating defenses, especially after the departure of Luis Díaz to Bayern Munich last summer.
Reports indicate that Liverpool is preparing a €50 million bid to secure the Syrian-born player, who joined Barcelona from Copenhagen last summer for €2 million. During his time with the Catalan club, he has scored two goals and provided four assists in 14 appearances.
Roni Badrgji is emerging as a notable name in European football, and Liverpool appears committed to making him a key part of their attacking future should Mohamed Salah depart from Anfield.
