Sherine Abdel Wahab's Health Crisis: Support from Friends Amid Family Distancing

Mohamed Abdel Wahab, brother of singer Sherine Abdel Wahab, has disclosed new details regarding his sister's ongoing health crisis, asserting that approximately 90% of reports concerning the involvement of other artists in her care are inaccurate.
In a statement on his Facebook account, Mohamed clarified that the individuals who truly assisted Sherine during this difficult time were Zina and singer Ahmed Saad, while popular artist Mahmoud El Leithy visited her daily.
He emphasized that their involvement was not intended to tarnish her reputation, but stemmed from a longstanding friendship with Sherine that predates her fame. Mohamed noted that they initially sought to keep the situation private, but were later subjected to a media campaign that stirred controversy.
Abdel Wahab attributed the family's estrangement from Sherine to the turmoil in her life, mentioning that previous attempts to support her four years ago were thwarted by rumors suggesting that the family was profiting from her situation, which ultimately disrupted her treatment plan.
He also provided details about her hospital transfer, stating that when Sherine experienced health issues, Zina was en route to visit her and promptly took her to a nearby hospital. There, doctors performed an endoscopy, and due to sedation, she was unable to drive herself home and was transported by ambulance instead.
Abdel Wahab concluded by reiterating that the assistance from Zina and Ahmed Saad was a result of their enduring friendship with Sherine, and their efforts to maintain privacy were overshadowed by the subsequent media scrutiny that ensued.
