Saudi Arabia Announces Tour de AlUla 2026 Cycling Event

Saudi Arabia announced today, Tuesday, January 6, 2026, the details of this year's "Tour de AlUla 2026" during a press conference held in the capital, Riyadh.
The event will feature representatives from the organizing bodies, along with local and international partners, and a select group of journalists from various regions.
The race is scheduled to take place in the AlUla province from January 27 to January 31, 2026, organized by the Saudi Cycling Federation in collaboration with ASO and the Royal Commission for AlUla, under the supervision of the Ministry of Sports.
The Tour de AlUla is a significant event on the global professional cycling calendar, recognized as a 2.Pro race within the UCI ProSeries category. It will feature both Saudi teams and international cyclists competing across five diverse stages that combine speed, elevation, and open routes amidst unique landscapes and historical sites.
The press conference will outline the overall vision for this edition, the sporting routes, and the main participating teams, emphasizing the event's role in advancing cycling in the Kingdom and promoting AlUla as a global destination for major sporting events.
Since its inception in 2020, the Tour de AlUla has established itself on the international cycling map, attracting top athletes and offering a comprehensive model that integrates sports professionalism, tourism, and sustainability, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
