Egyptian Artist Tarek El Amir Passes Away After Sudden Health Crisis

Egyptian artist Tarek El Amir died on Wednesday after a sudden deterioration in his health, following a prolonged battle with illness at a major hospital in Cairo.
A funeral prayer will be held in the Egyptian capital.
A source close to the deceased revealed that the health crisis was due to heart artery failure, and Tarek El Amir had been unaware of his underlying heart issues.
The source added that the artist experienced severe pain and lost consciousness, necessitating his urgent transfer to the hospital, where tests confirmed that his heart had stopped beating. Medical staff attempted to revive him, but he ultimately passed away.

The artist had been hospitalized after his health worsened and he fell into a coma due to an acute bacterial infection affecting his lungs, leading to phlegm buildup and breathing difficulties.
His sister, artist Lamia El Amir, reported that doctors had to postpone a scheduled tracheotomy aimed at improving his respiratory functions due to the severity and instability of his condition.
Lamia explained that there were some positive indicators regarding his kidney function, which had stabilized somewhat before his death, but the heart muscle stopped just hours prior, and resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful.
