Mahmoud Hegazy Addresses Sexual Harassment Allegations on Instagram
In his first official response following his arrest in a sexual harassment and assault case, artist Mahmoud Hegazy made cryptic remarks via his Instagram account, quoting a verse from the Quran in an effort to clarify his stance regarding the allegations against him.
Hegazy posted in his story:
"And they plot, and Allah plots, and Allah is the best of plotters," he added: "The cunning of humans and their plots... no matter how great, face the planning of Allah, which nullifies it and turns it into benefit."
