U.S. Military Releases Videos of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena in the Middle East

Two prominent American journalists, George Knapp and Jeremy Corbell, have disclosed two leaked videos showing the U.S. military's encounters with unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) in the Middle East. The U.S. Department of Defense and intelligence agencies have officially categorized these sightings as "unidentified anomalous phenomena."
The footage, captured by "Reaper" drones over 13 years ago, depicts strange objects moving at incomprehensible speeds and executing abrupt maneuvers without any thermal or radiation signatures indicative of conventional propulsion systems.
One video features three lights or "spheres" flying in a triangular formation over the Persian Gulf on August 23, 2012. Another report, released on February 3, 2026, details a spherical object observed along the Syria-Jordan border in 2021.
Notably, the drones managed to lock onto the latter object as a "target for attack," but it skillfully evaded the lock and vanished suddenly when the footage was shown in slow motion.
These leaks come amid ongoing calls from advocates for "disclosure" urging the U.S. government to release all military recordings related to potential encounters with what are believed to be "non-human" vehicles.
During a hearing on unusual phenomena on September 9, 2025, Missouri Republican Representative Eric Burlison presented footage of a "Reaper" drone striking a spherical object with a 100-pound "Hellfire" missile, yet the object continued its flight without any apparent impact.
The leaks have sparked debate regarding whether these objects represent advanced secret technologies or entirely unusual phenomena, leaving the skies over the Middle East as a backdrop for unresolved mysteries.
