The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Friday evening that they executed airstrikes against Hamas infrastructure in the Gaza Strip, citing a breach of the ceasefire agreement that occurred on Thursday.

Details of the Airstrikes

According to an official statement from the IDF, the airstrikes aimed at a facility used for munitions production and a weapons storage site operated by Hamas. The operations were initiated within twenty-four hours after Israeli troops were targeted by gunfire from militants in northern Gaza.
The IDF emphasized that precautions were taken to minimize civilian harm, including issuing advance warnings to residents and confirming that no uninvolved individuals were near the targeted locations.

Israeli Army's Stance

The IDF reiterated its commitment to addressing any violations of the ceasefire agreement, stating it will respond to threats posed by armed groups in Gaza. Additionally, the army released a video that documented the airstrikes, asserting that the operations adhered to strict targeting protocols to ensure civilian safety.
