Macron Commends Ceasefire Agreement Between Syrian Government and SDF

The Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have finalized a comprehensive ceasefire agreement, marking the beginning of a political, security, and military process aimed at integrating the northeastern region into state institutions.

Immediate Cessation of Hostilities

The agreement calls for an immediate end to hostilities, with military forces withdrawing from key contact points. These areas will be secured by personnel from the Ministry of Interior in the cities of Hasakah and Qamishli to bolster stability.
