The Qatari news agency reported on Thursday that the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, received a phone call from the US Secretary of State, during which they discussed developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip and ways to ensure the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement.
During the call, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman emphasized the necessity of international efforts to ensure the implementation of the agreement's provisions, affirming that Qatar continues its intensive diplomatic efforts with all concerned parties to establish the truce and provide safe corridors for humanitarian aid.
This call comes amid rising tensions following repeated violations of the agreement, as Qatar, acting as a key mediator, seeks to maintain communication channels between the Palestinian factions and Israel, with support from the United States and Egypt.
