Liverpool FC has confirmed the completion of its second signing during the winter transfer window, following the acquisition of Ivan Ndokoi from Austria Vienna. The club has reached an agreement to bring in Mor Ndiaye, a defender representing the Senegal U17 national team.

Details of the Transfer

According to sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, Ndiaye, who is capable of playing both center-back and left-back, will join Liverpool's youth setup. His signing comes after a notable performance in the 2025 U17 World Cup held in Qatar, where Senegal advanced to the round of 32 before being eliminated by Uganda.

Ndiaye is currently with Amity FC, a Senegalese club that has previously been associated with former Premier League players, including Demba Ba, who played for Chelsea and Newcastle United. The official registration of Ndiaye with Liverpool is expected to occur in the coming days.

Ongoing Pursuit of Marc Guehi

In addition to the Ndiaye signing, Liverpool is actively pursuing Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace to further bolster its defensive lineup. However, they face significant competition from Manchester City in the ongoing winter transfer market.
