Lebanese Minister Accuses Israel of Sovereignty Violations and Blames Hezbollah for Southern Destruction

The Lebanese Minister of Displaced Persons, Kamal Shahada, has expressed concerns regarding Israel's ongoing violations of Lebanese sovereignty, noting that Israel has failed to adhere to the ceasefire agreement, with little influence from the international community to change its actions.
In exclusive remarks, Shahada underscored the Lebanese government's commitment to genuinely establishing state authority, rather than merely a formal acknowledgment, and called for Israel to respect Lebanon's national sovereignty.
On domestic matters, the minister attributed the destruction in southern Lebanon to Hezbollah, while reiterating that Lebanon does not intend to escalate tensions and does not harbor hostile intentions towards any party, nor does it wish to provide Israel with a justification for intervention.
* Commitment to Rebuilding and Stability
Shahada highlighted the Lebanese government's dedication to rebuilding the southern region and reclaiming occupied territories, asserting that forthcoming efforts will focus on reconstruction and enhancing stability.
He also expressed optimism that an upcoming meeting of nations supporting the Lebanese army, scheduled for next month, will bolster the state's capabilities and reinforce its sovereignty over all territories.
