Lamine Yamal Decides on Surgery in the Groin Area After Consulting Doctors

Barcelona's young star, Lamine Yamal (18 years old), has made a decision regarding the possibility of undergoing surgery in the groin area, following ongoing struggles with an injury that has kept him off the field recently.
Yamal has missed six matches this season, four matches with Barcelona and two matches with the Spanish national team, raising concerns among the medical staff of the Catalan club.
Despite his injury, the young player participated in the last Clasico against Real Madrid, but he did not perform at his usual level, in a match that ended with Barcelona losing 1-2.
The Catalan newspaper Sport reported that Yamal consulted several doctors and decided to follow a conservative treatment plan based on rehabilitation and physical therapy, monitoring the progress of his condition day by day, ready to endure pain for an additional period in hopes of improvement.
The newspaper added that the player may reconsider the option of surgery if the pain continues without improvement, but he has not made any final decision on this matter yet.
Currently, Yamal's program is limited to specific training without increasing loads due to the pressure of matches, in preparation for Barcelona's upcoming match against Elche in La Liga on Sunday, followed by a Champions League match against Belgian club Club Brugge.
