Iran Denies Existence of Undeclared Nuclear Facilities, Critiques U.S. Negotiation Approach

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Iraqchi stated on Sunday that there are no undeclared uranium enrichment facilities in Iran, asserting that "all Iranian nuclear facilities are under the protection and monitoring of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)."

Iraqchi made these remarks during an international forum in Tehran titled "International Law Under Attack." He emphasized that Iran is not currently enriching uranium and noted that some facilities sustained damage during the recent 12-day conflict with Israel.

In this context, Iraqchi criticized the current U.S. stance towards Iran, claiming it reflects a lack of willingness for "equitable and fair negotiations." This criticism follows comments made by U.S. President Donald Trump last week regarding the potential for discussions about the sanctions imposed on Iran.

He further stated that Iran will not engage in negotiations under pressure, stressing that any dialogue must be grounded in mutual respect and recognition of Iran's sovereign rights to pursue its peaceful nuclear program.
