The Ataa Association for Humanitarian Relief announced today, Wednesday, the launch of a set of early recovery projects in the city of Sarmin, eastern Idlib province, as part of its efforts to rehabilitate infrastructure and improve living conditions for affected residents.

The projects include the maintenance and rehabilitation of several damaged schools to ensure a safe return for students, in addition to the reactivation of vital water stations that had stopped working due to the damage they sustained over the past years. The association has also begun constructing new housing units for families who lost their homes, alongside the restoration of several partially destroyed houses.

This step comes as part of a comprehensive plan aimed at enhancing local stability and providing a suitable environment for voluntary return, especially in light of the humanitarian challenges facing the region for years.
