Liverpool Targets Young Talent Rony Bardghji as Potential Salah Successor

Liverpool has initiated its search for a potential replacement for Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah, particularly in light of speculation surrounding his departure this summer. The club has dispatched scouts to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to observe the promising young talent Rony Bardghji, a 20-year-old Swedish player of Syrian descent, after his notable display with Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup.
Bardghji, born in Kuwait to Syrian parents, made a significant impact in the semi-final match against Athletic Bilbao, contributing to Barcelona's emphatic 5-0 victory by scoring one goal and providing two assists. His performance has caught the attention of Liverpool's scouts, who believe he is ready for a challenge in the Premier League.
According to the English outlet CaughtOffside, Liverpool's management views Bardghji as a fitting successor to Salah, especially as the player approaches his 34th birthday and following recent tensions with coach Arne Slot after controversial remarks made last month.
Additionally, Liverpool is in search of a quick, skillful player to enhance their attacking options, particularly after Luis Diaz moved to Bayern Munich last summer.
The club is reportedly preparing to make a bid of 50million euros for Bardghji, who transferred from Copenhagen to Barcelona last summer for two million euros, where he has since netted two goals and tallied four assists in 14 appearances.
Rony Bardghji is emerging as a notable name in European football, and Liverpool appears keen to secure him as a key figure in their future attack, should Mohamed Salah exit Anfield.
