Egypt and Turkey Collaborate on Gaza Ceasefire Implementation

Following discussions with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Abdel Atti noted that the talks also included the U.S. draft resolution concerning the establishment of an international stabilization force. He stressed the importance of maintaining the ceasefire to prevent any resurgence of military conflict.
Abdel Atti mentioned that ongoing conversations with Washington are focused on the logistics of deploying an international monitoring force to ensure compliance with the ceasefire. He affirmed that Egypt and Turkey are committed to applying diplomatic pressure to guarantee the full execution of the agreement and to avert any potential security issues in the region.
This visit is part of a broader initiative involving a joint planning group from Egypt and Turkey, aimed at coordinating regional strategies related to Gaza and enhancing cooperation on reconstruction and de-escalation efforts.
