British Firm Blue Skies Space Launches Satellite to Study Stellar Flares

Blue Skies Space, a British aerospace company, has successfully launched its first satellite, "Move", designed to investigate stellar flares, into orbit around Earth.
The satellite, comparable in size to a household microwave, was launched on Friday evening from a facility in California, aboard SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket.
Equipped with a specialized scientific microscope, the "Move" satellite is intended to observe and analyze flares occurring on stars and exoplanets, representing a significant advancement in our understanding of stellar activity in the universe.
The company plans to share the data collected by "Move" with academic and research institutions worldwide, including early collaborators such as Boston University and Columbia University in the United States.
Professor Giovanna Tinetti, Chief Scientist at Blue Skies Space, stated, "Move will provide new insights into stellar activity that has largely remained unseen," highlighting the importance of the data in enhancing researchers' understanding of astronomical phenomena.
