After a hiatus of three years from the big screen, Egyptian star Ahmed Helmy returns to cinema with a highly anticipated new film titled "The Weakest of His Creation", which marks his first collaboration with the famous Tunisian star Hend Sabry, one of the most prominent and powerful stars of Arab cinema on the international stage.

The film is directed by Omar Hilal, who previously presented the successful film "Voy Voy Voy", which was Egypt's official selection to represent it at the Oscars.

* Film Details:

The events of the film take place in 2007 inside the historic Giza Zoo, which has lost its charm amidst deteriorating cages.

Ahmed Helmy portrays the role of an honest zoologist who strives to maintain his principles in the face of the gradual decline of the zoo and struggles to provide a decent life for its animals.

At home, family pressures multiply due to his limited income, and the challenge increases when he faces an offer from a wealthy visitor to adopt some surplus animals, putting him in a difficult ethical dilemma that tests his integrity and ability to sacrifice.

* Hend Sabry's Role:

Hend Sabry plays the role of a mother facing struggles of faith, fear, and survival, where she conveys a deeply emotional character, making it a new and exciting collaboration between two of the greatest stars of Arab cinema at the peak of their artistic contributions.

* The Cinematic Nature of the Film:

"The Weakest of His Creation" blends black comedy, drama, and suspense to present a symbolic tale about love, sacrifice, survival, and moral choices, with surprising events that conclude the story.

* Production Team:

The film is produced by a group of prominent companies, including:

• Film Clinic (Mohamed Hefzy)

• Front Row Filmed Entertainment (Gianluca Chacra)

• Arabia Pictures

• B Square for producer Ahmed Badawy

The producers have confirmed that the project is very ambitious and reflects their passion for telling stories that transcend regional boundaries to reach a global audience.

* Filming Schedule:

Filming is scheduled to start on November 14 in Cairo.

This return comes after Ahmed Helmy's last cinematic work "One Other" in 2022.

"The Weakest of His Creation" is considered one of the most ambitious Arab cinematic projects, promising to deliver a new experience that combines creativity, emotional impact, and deep humanitarian messages, amidst the presence of major stars and distinguished filmmakers.
