US Envoy Reports Constructive Talks on Ukraine and Prisoner Exchange Agreement

US Envoy Witkoff stated on Thursday that discussions regarding Ukraine were constructive and aimed at establishing the necessary conditions for lasting peace.

According to Reuters, Witkoff confirmed that an agreement had been reached between Russia and Ukraine for the release of 157 prisoners of war from both sides, which he described as a positive step in building trust.

Witkoff added that the involved parties had agreed to continue trilateral discussions on Ukraine in the coming weeks as part of diplomatic efforts to mitigate the conflict.
