Jeddah is preparing to host the 2026 Spanish Supercup, marking the sixth edition of the tournament where five players will make their sixth consecutive appearance, underscoring their ongoing involvement in this prestigious sporting event.

Frenkie de Jong, a standout player for Barcelona, is the sole representative from his team to have participated in all five previous editions. He aims to help his team secure another title after previously winning two championships on Saudi soil.

Real Madrid will have four players who have taken part in every prior edition: Federico Valverde, Vinícius Júnior, Rodrygo, and Ferland Mendy, reflecting the club's consistent presence in the Saudi competition.

The Spanish Supercup features a competitive lineup of four top teams: Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid, and Athletic Bilbao.

For the third time, the event will be hosted in Jeddah, following three previous editions held in the capital, Riyadh.
