Samsung Unveils Galaxy S26 Ultra with Unique Privacy Feature

Samsung is preparing to release the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which will include an innovative feature designed to enhance user privacy by utilizing artificial intelligence to obscure on-screen content.
According to leaks regarding the One UI 8.5 interface, this new feature, named "Privacy Display", will reduce screen visibility from side angles, preventing onlookers from viewing the content on the device. When activated, the screen will appear darker, as reported by SamMobile, a technology news outlet.
The feature can be easily enabled through the settings menu or via a quick access button, allowing users to customize conditions for automatic activation.
It can also be integrated with various modes and routines to automate its activation, such as turning on when the user is outside their home or office.
This functionality is expected to be based on the new OLED display technology, potentially utilizing Flex Magic Pixel, which Samsung first showcased at the Mobile World Congress in early 2024.
However, it remains unclear whether this feature will be available across all three models in the Galaxy S26 series or exclusively in the Ultra model.
Currently, no other smartphone on the market offers a similar feature, positioning the Galaxy S26 Ultra as a pioneer in smartphone display privacy.
