Samsung Launches One UI 8.5 with Enhanced Customization Options for Quick Settings

On December 8, Samsung unveiled the beta version of its new interface, One UI 8.5, which introduces a range of new features, some of which bear resemblance to Apple's iPhone interface.
The standout feature of One UI 8.5 is the significantly enhanced customization options for quick settings.
While all Android devices offer some level of customization for these settings, Samsung has introduced unparalleled control in One UI 8.5, according to a report from Android Authority.
In previous versions, users could only add or remove buttons from the dropdown menu, such as the media player, smart home controls, and buttons for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Smart View, without the option to delete any of them. In One UI 8.5, Samsung has lifted all restrictions:
_ Users can remove any unwanted button, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and media player.
_ Volume and brightness controls can also be removed if desired.
_ New buttons can be added and arranged almost freely, based on personal preferences.
This level of freedom makes Samsung's new interface one of the most customizable among Android devices and sets a new benchmark for other smartphone manufacturers to follow.
It is noteworthy that Samsung continues to assert its significant influence on the Android system, even though Google is primarily responsible for it, making One UI 8.5 a significant step towards a more personalized and flexible user experience.
