Netanyahu: Israel Closely Monitoring Protests in Iran

Netanyahu's Remarks
During the opening of an Israeli cabinet meeting, Netanyahu remarked:
"Israel is closely watching developments in Iran. The calls for freedom have spread across the country. The people of Israel and the entire world admire the great courage shown by the Iranian people... We all hope that the Persian people will soon be freed from tyranny."
Reactions from Israel and International Community
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar reiterated the country's support for what he termed the "struggle of the Iranian people for their freedom," urging the European Union to designate the Iranian Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization during discussions with German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt, who is visiting Israel.
