Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Monday that Israel plays a crucial role in protecting the civilized world from regional threats in the Middle East.
During his address to the Knesset, Netanyahu highlighted that the United States "greatly values this Israeli role" and described the regional conflict as a "confrontation between nations striving for progress and freedom, and groups and countries that pose an existential threat to global order."
He added that Israel is "at the forefront of this battle," referencing close cooperation with Washington to address shared challenges.
Netanyahu also announced Israel's support for U.S. efforts in Venezuela, emphasizing that this backing is part of a "joint struggle against forces that threaten global stability and promote terrorism and oppression."
