Lebanese Minister Accuses Israel of Violating Sovereignty, Blames Hezbollah for Southern Destruction

The Lebanese Minister of Return, Kamal Shahada, has issued a warning regarding Israel's ongoing violations of Lebanese sovereignty, stating that Israel has not taken steps to honor the ceasefire agreement, and the international community has failed to exert meaningful influence over its actions.
In exclusive remarks, Shahada emphasized the Lebanese government's efforts to establish state authority in a substantive manner, not merely in form, and urged Israel to respect Lebanon's national sovereignty.
On the domestic front, the minister attributed the destruction in southern Lebanon to Hezbollah, while asserting that Lebanon does not seek escalation and harbors no hostile intentions towards any party, aiming to avoid giving Israel any pretext for intervention.
* Reconstruction of the South and Strengthening Stability
Shahada highlighted the Lebanese government's commitment to rebuilding the south and reclaiming occupied territories, noting that the next phase will involve significant efforts to restore the country and bolster stability.
He also expressed hope that the upcoming meeting of supportive nations for the Lebanese Army, scheduled for next month, will enhance the state's capabilities and reinforce its sovereignty over its entire territory.
