Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated on Friday that Israeli forces are currently in control of the Sheikh Mountain summit, which he referred to as a 'secure zone' in southern Syria. He emphasized that Israel is committed to defending the Golan Heights and Galilee against what it perceives as rising security threats.
