Liverpool Eyes Young Barcelona Talent Roni Badrgji as Potential Salah Successor

English club Liverpool is reportedly exploring options for a potential successor to Egyptian star Mohamed Salah. With the possibility of Salah's departure this summer, the club has dispatched scouts to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to monitor young talent Roni Badrgji, a Swedish player of Syrian descent, after his impressive display in the Spanish Supercopa.
Badrgji, 20, was born in Kuwait to s Syrian parents and made a significant impact in the semifinals of the Spanish Supercopa against Athletic Bilbao, contributing one goal and two assists to his team's commanding 5-0 victory. His performance has caught the attention of Liverpool's scouts, affirming his readiness for the Premier League.
According to the English website Caught Offside, Liverpool management views Badrgji as an ideal candidate to fill Salah's role, especially as the forward turns 34 this summer and has reportedly experienced tensions with coach Arne Slot following controversial comments last month.
This interest coincides with Liverpool's search for a fast player capable of dribbling in the attacking third, particularly after Luis Díaz transferred to Bayern Munich last summer.
Liverpool is expected to make an offer of approximately 50 million euros for the talented player, who joined Barcelona from Copenhagen for two million euros last summer and has scored two goals and provided four assists in 14 appearances for the Catalan side.
Roni Badrgji is emerging as a notable name in European football, and Liverpool appears determined to make him a key part of their attacking future should Mohamed Salah depart from Anfield.
