Benzema Shines in Debut for Al-Hilal, Leading Team to Dominant Victory

French star Kareem Benzema kicked off his tenure with Al-Hilal in spectacular fashion, leading the team to a commanding 6-0 victory against hosts Al-Akhidud on Thursday evening, during the 21st matchday of the Saudi Professional League Roshan.
In his official debut for Al-Hilal, Benzema scored a remarkable hat-trick, underscoring his significance as a high-profile transfer just days after joining from Al-Ittihad on the final day of the winter transfer window.
The French forward netted his three goals in the 31st, 60th, and 64th minutes, quickly making his mark and energizing the Al-Hilal supporters as the team continued its scoring spree.
Brazilian player Malcolm added a fourth goal in the 70th minute, followed by captain Salem Al-Dawsari, who scored the fifth in the 74th minute and capped off the scoring with his second goal in stoppage time.
This emphatic win raised Al-Hilal's points total to 50, solidifying their top position in the Roshan League standings, three points ahead of second-placed Al-Ahli. Meanwhile, third-placed Al-Nassr is set to face Al-Ittihad in a key match on Friday.
Conversely, Al-Akhidud remains at 10 points, sitting in 17th place, complicating their battle against relegation.
