Israel's National Security Minister Expresses Support for Iranian Protesters

Itamar Ben Gvir, Israel's Minister of National Security, has publicly voiced his support for Iranian protesters, asserting that the Iranian people have the right to live freely without the "murderous dictator Khamenei."

In a post on the platform "X," Ben Gvir emphasized Israel's solidarity with those in Iran advocating for freedom and dignity. The protests, which have now entered their fifth day, are spreading to rural provinces affected by economic hardship and rising living costs.

This statement comes as Iranian authorities report at least seven fatalities and numerous arrests, according to official sources and local news agencies. Israeli intelligence, including the Mossad, has recently urged protesters to intensify their social activities, stressing that they are "not alone on the streets."

In this context, former U.S. President Donald Trump warned Tehran that the United States would "intervene to protect peaceful protesters" if authorities resort to violence against them, highlighting the potential for international repercussions.
