Aleppo Governor Azzam al-Ghareeb stated on Thursday that multiple members of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have abandoned their posts in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods, while others have fled the area. He interprets these developments as possible signs of an impending military transition in the region.
The Governor also mentioned that internal security forces are preparing to patrol these neighborhoods to ensure safety and create suitable conditions for the return of displaced individuals after days of tension and conflict.
