Yedioth Ahronoth: Israel is betting on the Gaza reconstruction card

The Hebrew newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" observed in its analysis that it is too early to judge whether the war in Gaza has achieved its objectives, noting that Israel still possesses a "strong card" that it can employ in the next phase, which is control over the reconstruction file of the sector.

According to the analysis, this card grants Tel Aviv additional political leverage, as it can use the reconstruction process as a pressure tool in upcoming negotiations, whether with Palestinian parties or with regional and international mediators.

The newspaper also pointed out that the results of the war are not only measured by military achievements but also by Israel's ability to translate these results into political gains, considering that the reconstruction file will be one of the most prominent testing grounds in the next phase.
