US State Department Calls for Stability in Syria, Disarmament of Hamas, and Iran's Nuclear Program Reassessment

Houston noted that the US is collaborating with its partners in Syria and the surrounding region to mitigate any potential threats posed by Syria.

On the topic of Gaza, she emphasized that the US expects Hamas to adhere to the agreement and disarm in order to facilitate reconstruction efforts.

Regarding Iran, she indicated that the current unrest in the country stems from public discontent, reiterating that the US seeks for Tehran to move away from its nuclear and ballistic missile initiatives.
