Saudi Arabia Unveils Details for Tour of AlUla 2026 Cycling Race

Saudi Arabia has officially announced the details for the "Tour of AlUla 2026," a key cycling event, during a press conference held in Riyadh on January 6, 2026.
Attendees included representatives from the organizing bodies, local and international partners, as well as media professionals from various regions.
The race is scheduled to take place in AlUla Governorate from January 27 to 31, 2026. It is organized by the Saudi Cycling Federation in partnership with the ASO and the Royal Commission for AlUla, under the supervision of the Ministry of Sports.
The Tour of AlUla is recognized as a significant event in the global cycling calendar, classified as a 2.Pro race within the UCI ProSeries. It will feature both the Saudi national team and international cyclists competing across five stages that incorporate speed, climbing, and scenic routes through AlUla's unique natural and historical landscapes.
The conference highlighted the vision for this year's edition, including the race routes and the notable teams participating. It emphasized the event's contribution to the development of cycling in Saudi Arabia and its role in promoting AlUla as a premier destination for significant sporting events.
Since its inaugural event in 2020, the Tour of AlUla has secured its position on the international cycling map, drawing elite athletes and exemplifying a model that integrates sports professionalism, tourism, and sustainability, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
