Today, Tuesday, the activities of the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative Forum in Riyadh kicked off, held at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center under the slogan "Key to Prosperity", under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The forum will continue until October 30, following closed sessions held yesterday, October 27, which hosted a group of thinkers and experts to discuss the exchange of experiences and ideas, before the open sessions that began today with wide participation from investors and decision-makers.

The conference activities focus on the contradictions of innovation and the challenges that hinder progress, as the sessions will showcase how technological developments and economic policies influence the acceleration of growth, in addition to the opportunities of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, and the impact of geopolitical tensions and resource disparities on the global economy.

The forum addresses a range of vital issues, including:

_ The impact of artificial intelligence and robotics on productivity.

_ Wealth formation amid increasing inequality.

_ The geopolitical effects of resource scarcity.

_ Demographic transformations and reshaping the future workforce.

_ Strategies to achieve a balance between economic growth and environmental sustainability.

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, confirmed in a special interview that her participation in the forum represents an important opportunity to enhance economic cooperation and attract investments.

She explained that her country's economic strategy aligns with sustainable development goals and seeks to build a diverse economy based on innovation and international partnerships, expressing her appreciation for Saudi Arabia's role and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in supporting her country's stability and development path.

Osmani pointed out the importance of enhancing partnerships with the Arab world, emphasizing that Saudi Arabia is a key partner in supporting development and peace in the region and the world, stressing Kosovo's pursuit of building a future based on justice and reconciliation.

The forum is expected to witness the attendance of about 20 heads of state, with expectations of signing investment agreements worth up to 60 billion dollars, reflecting the significance of the event as a global platform to enhance economic and investment cooperation between countries and major companies.
