Red Cross Warns of Critical Humanitarian Crisis in El Fasher, Sudan

The Red Cross reported on Tuesday that humanitarian conditions in El Fasher, Darfur, have deteriorated significantly following 100 days of control by the Rapid Support Forces. Civilians are enduring life-threatening conditions, raising concerns about potential violations spreading to Kordofan.

The report noted that the ongoing conflict has led to severe losses among humanitarian workers, with 21 staff members of the Sudanese Red Crescent confirmed killed since the outbreak of fighting, highlighting the dangers faced by relief teams.
