Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey Establish Palestinian Committee to Oversee Gaza

On Wednesday, Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey confirmed the establishment of a Palestinian technocrat committee to oversee governance in the Gaza Strip, with Ali Abdul Hamid Shath appointed as its leader. This initiative is regarded as a pivotal move aimed at fostering stability and enhancing humanitarian conditions in the area.

The joint statement highlighted that the formation of this committee facilitates the commencement of the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which encompasses political, security, and comprehensive reconstruction measures.

The three nations underscored the importance of all involved parties adhering to the Gaza agreement to achieve lasting peace. They expressed optimism that this development could signify a new chapter in alleviating the hardships faced by Gaza's residents and promoting regional stability.
