Heartfelt Reflections on Family Loss

Nadine recounted the deaths of her father, mother, and four siblings, stating:
"I am now different from who I was, and I accept that it is God's will."
She described her brother's passing as particularly devastating, adding:
"I was on the verge of losing my mind and pleaded with God to take my soul instead of his."
She also mentioned feeling a spiritual connection with her deceased relatives, surprising host Neshan by saying:
"The spirit of my late brother is present with us during this episode."

Challenges of a Difficult Childhood

Khoury spoke about the hardships she faced growing up, noting that she attended a challenging school. She expressed her disdain for the stage she once performed on, indicating the lasting effects of these experiences on her life.

Admiration for Fellow Artists

In discussing the artistic community, Nadine praised several Syrian stars, including Taim Hassan, Amal Arafa, Karis Bashar, Salwa Khattar, and Salaf Fakhri. She also expressed admiration for Lebanese actresses such as Pamela Al-Kik, Zeina Maki, and Sasha Dahdouh, acknowledging their competitive spirit with Nadine Nassib Njeim. Additionally, she highlighted a recent meeting of Syrian artists with advisor Turki Al-Sheikh in Saudi Arabia and commended the Joy Awards ceremony.

Confronting Death and Finding Peace

The episode featured poignant moments as Khoury discussed her acceptance of death, adding a profound human element to the conversation and showcasing her bravery in addressing her most challenging experiences in front of an audience.
