The international Italian star Monica Bellucci sparked a wide wave of interaction on social media after she posted a photo with the Egyptian star Ahmed Ezz from the set of the anticipated action film "Seven Dogs", scheduled to be released in cinemas in 2026.
Bellucci revealed through her official Instagram account details of her participation in the work, where she plays a mysterious character named "Julia", and commented on the photo with the phrase: "Julia plays to win, and never deceives." The photo received a significant reaction from the Arab and global audience, especially after confirming the existence of an artistic collaboration that brings her together for the first time with an Arab star.
The film, which has been described as the largest Arab cinematic production in history, comes under the supervision and production of advisor Turki Al Sheikh, the head of the General Entertainment Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who previously announced the complete wrap of filming inside the "Big Time" studios in Riyadh.
The work features a selection of the most prominent stars of Arab cinema, including:
Kareem Abdulaziz, Ahmed Ezz, Nasser Al Qasabi, Sayed Ragab, Tara Emad, Sandy Bella, Hanaa El Zahed, Hala Sedky, and Menna Shalaby, along with international names that have not yet been revealed, described as the “big surprise” of the film.
Al Sheikh pointed out the participation of the Saudi special forces in executing the action scenes, thanking Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef, the Minister of Interior, for his exceptional support for the project.
The film is directed by the Belgian duo Adel Arabi and Bilall Fallah, with the participation of global producer Ivan Atkinson, while the screenplay was written by Mohamed Al Dabbah under the supervision of international writer Daniel Knauf.
“Seven Dogs” is also a Saudi national achievement, as 175 Saudis participated in its production, in addition to training 75 young men and women in various fields of cinematic work, as part of the Kingdom's vision to build a competitive film industry globally.
Al Sheikh confirmed that the film represents the first launch of a series of massive cinematic projects, noting that there are five new films in preparation with global production standards.
