Libya Achieves Highest Oil Production in a Decade in 2025

The Libyan National Oil Corporation has reported that the average daily production of crude oil in 2025 rose by 21%, reaching 1.374 million barrels per day. This marks the highest production level for Libya in a decade.

Official statistics indicate that the total oil production for the year was approximately 501 million barrels, up from 414 million barrels in 2024. This reflects a significant enhancement in the production capacity of Libya's oil sector.
