Lebanese Ski Champion's Video with Child Sparks Mixed Reactions Online

A video circulating on social media in recent days has ignited debate, showcasing a skier in the Lebanese Cedars region practicing her sport while carrying her child on her back.
The footage has elicited varied responses:
While many commended her courage and skiing ability, others raised alarms regarding the potential risks to the child's safety.
It has since been revealed that the skier is Nor Kiroz, Lebanon's skiing champion from 2018.
In a television interview on Thursday, Nor clarified that the moment was spontaneous, explaining that she often takes her child skiing to introduce him to the sport early on, noting that he enjoys their snowy outings.
Addressing the criticisms she received, Nor acknowledged the concerns of those unfamiliar with skiing but asserted that no one is more attentive to her child's safety than she is, emphasizing that she would never endanger him.
She also mentioned that her child was secured in a specialized backpack and that she had taken all necessary precautions to ensure his safety, even in the event of a fall.
This incident coincides with a recent severe storm in Lebanon, characterized by heavy rain and snowfall in mountainous areas, making the skiing footage particularly captivating and widely shared on social media.
