Lamine Yamal returns to the top.. Spain's squad includes Laporte before the matches against Georgia and Turkey

Luis de la Fuente, the head coach of the Spain national team, announced the “La Roja” squad for the matches against Georgia and Turkey in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers from Europe, where the Spanish team will play the first match away on November 15, and then host the Turkish team on the 18th of the same month as part of Group 5.

Leading before the international break

Spain enters the November rounds at the top of the group with 12 points from four consecutive victories, compared to 9 points for Turkey, then Georgia with 3 points, while Bulgaria is at the bottom of the table with no points.


Notable returns

The squad saw the return of Lamine Yamal, the Barcelona star, after recovering from the injury that kept him out of the October gathering, and Emmeric Laporte returned to the national team after moving back to Athletic Bilbao.
