Kareem Mahmoud Abdel Aziz and Ann Al-Rifai Confirm Separation After 14 Years of Marriage

The Egyptian artist Kareem Mahmoud Abdel Aziz has officially confirmed his separation from his wife Ann Al-Rifai, following a 14-year marriage during which they welcomed three children.
Kareem shared the news on his Instagram account, stating, "Divorce is God's law," and expressed his respect for Al-Rifai as the mother of their daughters.
In his post, Kareem remarked:
"Regardless of circumstances, you will always be the mother of my daughters, and I am their father... We tried for many years to sustain our relationship, but ultimately, we could not," emphasizing that the separation does not assign blame to either party.
He further added:
"Some relationships conclude as part of God's plan, and such endings should occur with kindness, love, and mutual respect. I did not wish for this outcome... but it is God's will."
Kareem also addressed circulating rumors regarding the involvement of other individuals, specifically mentioning artist Dina El Sherbiny, and firmly denied any connection:
"No one mentioned recently had any role in these issues, either directly or indirectly... homes are private matters,"
he concluded:
"I would have preferred to keep my personal life private out of respect for all involved, but I felt it necessary to clarify for the audience who cares about my situation."
* Ann Al-Rifai Responds: "I Learned of the Divorce via Instagram"
Shortly after Kareem's announcement, Ann Al-Rifai took to her Instagram account to confirm the separation, stating that she learned of it through her husband's story, without any prior official notification or divorce papers.
Ann expressed her disappointment:
"Thank God for everything. I have remained silent for a long time to protect my home and family, believing that homes are private. I was informed of the divorce through an Instagram story after 14 years of marriage, without any divorce papers or notification from a marriage officiant."
As the mother of their three daughters, Ann concluded her message with a remark on the situation:
"Thank you for the appreciation and respect... and they plot and God plots, and God is the best of planners," expressing her dissatisfaction with how the separation was communicated.
