Iyad Nassar to Release New Series on Gaza Conflict During Ramadan 2026

Jordanian actor Iyad Nassar has announced preparations for his upcoming dramatic series that will explore the hardships faced by Palestinians during the ongoing conflict in Gaza. The series is slated for release during the upcoming Ramadan season in 2026.
In exclusive comments, Nassar shared that the project is currently in the scriptwriting phase, aiming to highlight the human experiences and profound suffering endured by Palestinians since the outbreak of hostilities in October 2023.
Nassar stated:
"This conflict encompasses more than just scenes of destruction and displacement; it tells the stories of individual homes, families, and children. Each Palestinian household deserves a comprehensive narrative that conveys its struggles—ranging from loss and hunger to homelessness and the fight for survival."
He emphasized that the tragic circumstances in Gaza necessitate multiple dramatic portrayals to effectively communicate the reality to a global audience. The series will draw on real-life accounts inspired by the experiences of Palestinian families living under siege, amid devastation and loss.
* Attending a Notable Ceremony
In a separate engagement, Iyad Nassar recently attended the wedding of the daughter of the late Egyptian officer Mohamed Mabrouk, a role he notably portrayed in the series "The Choice 3."
It is important to note that Mabrouk, a key figure in the National Security Agency, was assassinated by the Muslim Brotherhood in 2013 after exposing the espionage activities of several group leaders in collaboration with foreign entities. His work was instrumental in monitoring communications and plans related to the group, contributing to legal actions against its leaders in what became known as the "Major Espionage Case" involving former President Mohamed Morsi.
* Nassar: A Prominent Figure in Social and National Drama
Nassar is recognized for his impactful roles that often reflect national and humanitarian themes, achieving significant acclaim for his portrayals of real-life characters and critical events in the region's history, including his role in the "Choice" series.
As the Ramadan season approaches, audiences across the Arab world are eagerly anticipating the official announcement regarding the title of the new series and its cast, with expectations that it will be among the most compelling dramatic works to authentically document the tragedies in Gaza.
