Internal Security Forces Deploy in Qamishli Under Tight Security and Curfew

On Tuesday, a convoy of internal security forces linked to the Ministry of Interior entered the city of Qamishli in northeastern Syria. This deployment is part of an agreement established between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

The arrival of these forces followed a visit by a small group of ministry personnel to a site in Hasakah, the provincial capital, just a day earlier.

Accompanying the entry was a curfew and a significant presence of SDF forces patrolling the streets of Qamishli. This indicates new security arrangements being made as part of the ongoing negotiations between the two parties. The action is part of a broader initiative to reorganize the security and administrative framework in the region.
