The English club Everton has joined the list of clubs interested in signing English striker Ivan Toney, a player for Saudi Al-Ahli, during the upcoming winter transfer window, according to the website Somos Fanaticos.

Toney's name has been linked in recent weeks with several top clubs in the Premier League, including West Ham, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Aston Villa, due to his impressive performance with his Saudi team since joining in the summer of 2024 from Brentford.

The report indicated that Everton's management has already contacted the player this week and expressed their desire to sign him on loan, with plans to make an official offer soon to strengthen the team's attack, in addition to giving Toney a chance to return to the England national team in the future.

Toney, who is 29 years old, has the approval of Everton's coaching staff, and he is expected to be part of the starting lineup if the deal is completed, while the management of Saudi Al-Ahli has not made a final decision regarding the player's future, who is under contract with the club until the summer of 2028.

Despite the significant European interest, sources close to Toney indicated that he currently does not show a desire to return to Europe, and it is likely that he will remain with Al-Ahli until at least 2026, especially after his outstanding performance this season, where he scored 10 goals in 14 matches across various competitions.
