Authorities in Qalyubia Governorate have uncovered the cause of a tragic incident that led to the deaths of a father and his two sons, while their mother and another son sustained critical injuries. Initial suspicions of food poisoning were dismissed after investigations confirmed that a household gas leak was responsible for the incident.
The father, who worked as a Quran teacher, and his two sons succumbed to suffocation upon arrival at the hospital, while the mother and their surviving son are currently receiving intensive care due to the severity of their conditions.
According to local residents, the surviving son, Hamza, awoke early to prepare for an exam and discovered his family unresponsive in their apartment. He promptly called for an ambulance and sought assistance from neighbors.
