Azerbaijan Protests to Russia Following Missile Strike on Embassy in Kyiv

Azerbaijan summoned the Russian ambassador in Baku on Friday to formally protest the damage inflicted on its embassy in Kyiv during a recent missile and drone attack by Russia on the Ukrainian capital.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry issued a statement indicating that an Iskander missile struck the embassy grounds, resulting in damage to nearby areas, vehicles, and the diplomatic facility itself.

The ministry emphasized that attacks on diplomatic missions are intolerable and called for a thorough investigation by Russia, along with a detailed explanation of the circumstances surrounding the incident.
